Abstract The rapid development of technology is having an enormous effect on our lives. Emerging technological solutions offer new possibilities in various fields and different levels, either for ordinary human beings or organisations governments. However, the ethical implications such technologies lives, societies, are often not fully understood require careful analysis. This article focuses one type technologies, genetic tests available to public, analysing potential concerns these being directly provided consumers.
